About Me
My name is Catherine Calibey. I am a certified speech-language pathologist. I received my bachelors from Oklahoma State University in 2012 and my masters from Northeastern University in Boston, MA in 2015. I have previous experience in both the school and adult home health settings. However, I cannot express how thrilled I am to be blessed with the opportunity to now have my own private practice so that I have the flexibility to provide you with the utmost quality of care.
If you are here because you (or a loved one) are struggling with a feeding, speech, or a myofunctional disorder know that you have come to the right place. Know that you are not alone. I have been there. I have been the mom who had a baby with a painful latch but suffered in silence because I wasn't sure what to do about it. I have been the mom who was told her kid had a tongue tie and had to learn what addressing that looks like (because....SURPRISE...I was not educated on that in grad school). I am currently dealing with the effects that come from an undiagnosed myofunctional disorder. I am someone who is always on the lookout for providers who will listen and help me to get to the root of the problem so that I can heal holistically, from the ground up. So...I would be honored if I could be that provider for you.
Functional Foundations was born from the idea that it is not sufficient to treat at the surface level. We want to build on a strong foundation so that the effects of treatment are meaningful and lasting.
If any of this resonates with you please feel free to reach out for a free discovery call. During that time I will listen to your concerns and we can determine if I am the right provider to help you move forward.
